Of the admiralty Maze, hired in October 1688 for ƒ 725 at Rotterdam, Netherlands to bring king-stadholder William III to England, dimensions 84 x 21½ x 5 feet, master Bastiaen den Hengst, appraised value of ship ƒ 2.220. Is this the Hengst mentioned in the transaction dated 6 february 1688 when master bookholder Bastiaen den Hengst sold the circa 20 years old galliotship den Hengst, with equipment, by auction to Jan van der Hoeve and Jacobus Tarruwe?
