French officers arrested for espionage at Kiel, Germany according to the Dyutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 13 January 1894

the two French officers arrested at Kiel,
Germany accused
of espionage stated this to have done as ordered by the chief general staff of
the French navy.
