American privateer Comet captured the British ships Minerva and Enterprize according to the Dutch newspaper Opregte Haarlemsche Courant dated 19 March 1814

An item reported that the American privateer Comet of 12 guns and 120 men captured the British ships Minerva coming from London, England and the Enterprize underway from Bermuda and Grenada towards Guadeloupe. The latter ship was plundered, released and arrived at Nevis [Saint Kitts and Nevis].
