Tug Neptunes assisted by salvaging at the Brandaris, Netherlands stranded Swedish steamship A. Wicander according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 12 February 1907

An item dated Terschelling, Netherlands 10th reported that the Swedish steamship A. Wicander underway from Stockholm, Sweden towards Rotterdam, Netherlands grounded that same morning north west of the Brandaris but was refloated with the assistance of the tug Neptunus and able to continue her voyage. She arrived the 11th at Rotterdam.
