Dutch 4th charter Wulverhorst 1696-1705
Of the admiralty Amsterdam, built at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1696, captured and burnt while heavy damaged by French privateers in 1705, dimensions (Amsterdam foot) 145 x 37½ x 14¾, an armament of 50-52 guns and a crew numbering 220-311 men. sources: {64} captured and burnt by French. {12 vol 6} built 1696, 50 guns. {33} In 1702 part of fast sailing squadron of Dutch-British fleet, captain Teenghs, in 1705 captain M. Sels, part of squadron W.J. baron van Ghent, departed Texel as escort for whalers and E.I.C. men, 19 May off Kijkduin, Netherlands captured by three French privateers and due tot heavy damage burnt.
