Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Valk underway from Surinam towards Curacao according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Surinaamsche courant dated 8 December 1835

An item reported the departure from Paramaribo, Surinam on the 5th by the Dutch brig of war Zr.Ms. Valk captain lieutenant G. van Lennep Coster jr. towards Curacao, Dutch West Indies.(1)

Glavimans Jz. at naval yard at Rotterdam, Netherlands in August 1822, launched on 9 August 1824, stricken in 1840, hospital in 1841, dimensions 29,8 (load line) x 9,2 (inner hull) x 3,4 (fore)-4,5 (aft) x 4,5 (depth below upper deck) metres, 465 tons displacement and an armament of 18 guns (16-30 pd carronades and 2-6pd guns).
