Part of cargo saltpetre of the stranded British bark Scottish Fairy salvaged and transported to Nieuwediep, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 27 August 1889

An item dated Nieuwediep, Netherlands 24th reported that the ship Scottish Fairy was stranded and that of her cargo 1.800 bales saltpetre were salvaged and transported to Amsterdam, Netherlands. There were the bales to be loaded on board of steamship bound for Hamburg, Germany.(1) The edition dated 7 March reported a departure on 4 March from Nieuwediep towards Hamburg of the steamship Prima with on board 5.938 bales saltpetre part of the cargo of the Condor.

1. According to the newspaper Vliegend blaadje dated 7 August a bark ship captain Ellis, homeport Liverpool, England coming via Falmouth, England from Pisaqua, Chile bound for Hamburg stranded on the Razende Bol and finally sunk.
