Russian 3-mast schooner Pittan underway from the Netherlands towards England according to the Dutch newspaper Vlissingse Courant dated 9 May 1910

An item dated Vlissingen, Netherlands 7th reported the departed the departure a day earlier from Middelburg, Netherlands towards Blyth, England by the Russian 3-mast schooner Pittan captain Behrsin. She was however forced to anchor in the roads of Vlissingen caused by contrary winds. She came from Demerara with a cargo of greenheart beams for account of the Dutch firm N.V.
