Ship Friedlander loaded with guano arrived with damaged at Valparaiso, Chile according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 6 July 1878

An item dated Valparaiso, Chile 21 May reported the arrival of the ship Friedlander captain Morrison loaded with guano coming from Mexillones [Chile] on 13 May with a broken mainmast. After the repairs was she to be on short notice fitted out for departure.
