German bark Ella Nicolai lost anchor and chain lying lying in the roads of Anjer, Dutch East Indies due to squall according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 5 April 1888

An item reported that the German bark Ella Nicolai lying in the roads of Anjer, Dutch East Indies in the afternoon of the 4th lost her anchor with 30 fathoms chain due tot a sudden squall. Her captain Meisterfeld immediately ordered to set sail to continue her voyage.
