Tugs Raaf and Baden 4 salvaged stranded German barge Friedrich Striepen off Hansweert, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated Friday 12 April 1895

An item reported that in the morning the German iron towing barge Friedrich Striepen master H. Striepen while towed by the tug Raaf was grounded the eastern harbour verge at Hansweert, Netherlands. She was with a cargo underway towards Mannheim, Germany. Later was she by the Raaf assisted by the tug Baden 4 with much difficulty refloated. Lucky enough she was not damaged.
