The light ship on the Krishna bank, Bay of Bengal according to the Dutch newspaper De locomotief dated 12 November 1879

An item dealing with the light circle of the light ship on the Krishna bank (Bay of Bengal, Burmese coast) reported that since the small light ship Colombo replaced the light ship Star the light could see with the naked eye at clear water over a distance of 8 British miles. The height of the light above the water was 30 feet. Just like in the past was every 30 minutes a blue light shown and a brown light at 15 minutes over and 15 minutes before the hour.
