French submarine Laplace 1917-at least 1923

Launched in 1917, completed in 1920, displacement 840 (surfaced)-1.318 (submerged) tons, horsepower 2.600 (surfaced)-1.640 (submerged) hp, oil-fired internal combustion machinery (surfaced)-electric machinery (submerged) and an armament of 2-14pd guns and 8 torpedo tubes. (1)

1. Q111. Of the Lagrance-class, preceded by the Armide-class and succeeded by the O'Byrne-class, a modified Dupuy de Lôme-design. Laid down by Arsenal de Rochefort, France in 1911, launched on 12 August 1919, completed and commissioned in 1921, decommissioned in July 1935 and stricken and sold to be broken up the same year.
