Russia strengthening Vladivostok according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1938 no. 2

An item referred to the Jap. Chr. dated 25 November 1937 reporting that at Vladivostok numerous so-called pill boxes and shelters were being built and an underground hanger for 150 aircraft. The number of 85.000 soldiers and sailors in the town at that moment present was to be increased even more.
