French light cruiser (ex-Kolberg) Colmar in 1923

Launched in 1908, completed in 1910, displacement 4.280 tons, horsepower 19.600 hp, coal-oil fired turbine direct drive machinery and armament of 6-5.9” guns, 2 smaller and machineguns and 1 torpedo tube.(1)

1, Former German light cruiser SMS (ex-Ersatz Greif) Kolberg. Laid down at the Schichau-Werke, Danzig in begun 1908, launched on 14 November 1908, completed on 21 June 1910, stricken on 5 November 1919, surrendered at Cherbourg, France under the temporarily name ‘W’ on 25 April 1920, commissioned in French service as the Colmar , stricken on 21 July 1927 and finally broken up at Brest, France in 1929.
