Maintenance and building costs of British warships according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1925 no. 5

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau dated 1925 no. 21-22 reporting that the British Admiralty published figures dealing with the building and maintenance of types of ships. The costs of building and fitting out of a battleships were 7 million pound sterling included 2,7 million for wages. Other costs were for respectively a small cruiser, a destroyer and a submarine around 2 million, 325.000 pound sterling and 400.000 pound sterling.
