Austrian torpedo boat No. 5 torpedoed but arrived safely in harbour according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 13 September 1915

An item referred to an statement of the Austrian Admiralty dated 10th that a day earlier on a reconnaissance cruise the Austrian torpedo boat No. 5 was torpedoed by a submarine of the enemy. She managed to return safely to the harbour despite her damaged bow. Another newspaper De Tijd dated 11th called her the No. 51, the Nieuwe Tilburgsche Courant dated 11th again No. 5.
