British troop transport Emmaus sunk by Italian submarine Cappellini according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder courant dated 25 January 1941

An item reported that a Italian submarine commanded by corvette captain Salvatore Todaro sunk after a heavy fight the British 7.000 ton auxiliary cruiser Eumdeus with troops embarked.(1)
