Dutch lighthouse Nieuwe Sluis at Breskens, Netherlands 1865-


Lighthouse at Nieuwesluis, some kilometres west of Breskens, Netherlands. Designed by Quirinus Harder. Ordered to be built by the Belgisch-Nederlandse Permanente Commissie van Toezicht op de Scheldevaart on 26 December 1865. Built in 1866-1867. Commissioned on 19 January 1868 and decommissioned on 3 October 2011. Last remaining Dutch cast iron made lighthouse.
