Fate of German battleships and submarines discussed by Allies according to the Dutch newspaper De Volksstem dated 3 December 1918

An item reported that the Allies now possessed the major part of the German fleet included the submarines and was now considering what to do with the battleships. Experts claimed that the battleships were of no use or hardly any use except for warfare. To prevent any war in the future were discussions going on to scuttle the German battleships and submarines.
