Portuguese naval program radical changed by British cabinet wishes according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 5

An item referred to The Engineer reporting that due to the wishes of the British cabinet the naval program for the Portuguese navy was radically changed. Along the river Taag off Lisbon, Portugal was a new shipyard to be founded including 4 docks each capable to dock a battleship. British shipyards were to built 2 battleships, 6 cruisers, 13 destroyers and 6 submarines.
