Dutch East Indies steamship Gouverneur Generaal ‘s-Jacob underway from the Netherlands towards the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Javabode dated 26 April 1889

An item dated 25th reported the passing of Nieuw Anjer, Dutch East Indies by the Dutch steamship G.G. ‘s-Jacob underway from Amsterdam, Netherlands towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies. She arrived there the same day, captain De Blinde coming from Amsterdam, Genoa, Italy and Padang, Dutch East Indies, shipping agents Stoomvaart Maatschappij Holland.(1)
