Danish steamship Magnus sunk after hitting a mine according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van Friesland dated 15 December 1939

An item reported that recently the Danish steamship Magnus (1.339 tons) hit a mine and sunk. Last Wednesday was the only survivor of a crew numbering 20 men saved. His companion on the raft died of exhausting.
