Italian navy ordered another Delfino-design submarine according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1895-1896 No. 6

An item reported that the Italian navy intended to built another submarine of the Delfino type with as dimensions 15 x 3,50 metres and a submerged speed of 10 miles.
