Guns of American new submarines types stored in permanent watertight shelters according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1914-1915 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht which reported that there were intentions to built a new type of submarine with no longer guns placed on so-called diving mountings but on permanent mountings with were stored in a not removable shelter with quick opening of closing water tight ports.
