French destroyer Voltigeur perforned very well during trials according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1909-1910 no. 8

An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau reporting that the French destroyer Voltigeur with a machinery consisting of Rateau turbines and piston engines achieved on her full speed trial a speed of 30,2 miles while 28 miles was contracted.(1)

1. Of the Voltigeur-class consisting of the Voltigeur and Tirailleur, preceded by the Spahi-class and succeeded by the Chasseur-class. Launched by Ateliers et Chantiers de Bretagne, France on 23 March 1909, completed in April 1910 and decommissioned in May 1920.
