The I.R.N. Shipyards at Braila, Romania according to a CIA report dated 8 July1948

An item reported that the I.R.N. Shipyards at Braila, Romania covered an area with the dimensions 400 by 500 metres surrounded by a 2,5-3 metres high wall. The personnel numbered 300-400 labourers and 40-50 clerks. Except for 3.000 tons oil tankers were mainly tugs built and was regularly for Russian account worked.
