Czechoslovakian steamship Melnik according to a CIA report dated 30 July 1951

An item reported that the Czechoslovak Elbe Navigation Company, Prague, Czechoslovakia operated on the Hamburg-Magdeburg line the steamship Melnik, with a crew numbering 11 men, fitted out with 900-1.100 coal fuelled machinery allowing a speed of 4 kilometres upstream. Tonnage 4.500 tons. Draft 1,1-1,3 metres.
