Built by P. Smit Jr., Rotterdam in 1926. Owned by Piet Smit Jr. N.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands, in German navy service in 1940-1945, afterwards returned to her owner and renamed Giovanni as property of SA Italiana Lavori Edili Marittimi, Palermo, Italy. Fitted out with 1-590ihp steam engine. Dimensions 28,62 x 7,34 x 2,96 metres. EU No. 2704173. Converted into a pontoon Giovanni 2 of Lavori Edili Marittimi Sa, Palermo and engine removed in 1975 and broken up in 1995.
