East German minesweeper Üeckermünde 1969-1992 and Maltese patrol vessel P 30 (A124) 1992-

Ex-German Kondor I-class minesweepers Üeckermünde (G411/GS01). Laid down by VEB Peenewerft, Wolgast, Germany on 20 August 1968, launched on 27 February 1969, commissioned on 27 June 1969. In July 1992 handed by Germany to Malta although her new armament and radar were removed. Full load displacement 377 tons and as dimensions 51,9 x 7,1 x 2,2 metres or 170.3 x 23.2 x 7.2 feet. Armament consisted of 4-14,5mm quadruple machineguns. Crew numbered 25 including 2 officers. Speed 20 knots a and a range of 1.800 nautical miles with a speed of 15 knots. Horsepower 4.409hp/3.24MW supplied by 2 Russki/Kolomna 40DM diesels. Laid up by 2013.
