The Austrian DDSG tug Vladivostok active on the Danube according to a CIA report dated 18 November 1954

An item dated 27 June reported the arrival at Komarno, Czechoslovakia ( nowadays Slovakia) by the Austrian DDSG (Sowjetische Donau Dampf Schiffahrts Gesellschaft m.b.H.) tug Vladivostok while towing 2 empty tankers and 2 barges loaded with respectively 581 and 668 tons Pyrites (Russian iron ore). The barges were left there and she went further with the tankers. On 4 July she left Budapest, Hungary towards the USSR while towing barges loaded with bauxite, 2 loaded tankers and empty cargo barges.(1)

1. The DDSG (Sowjetische Donau Dampf Schiffahrts Gesellschaft m.b.H.) was controlled by the Soviet Union between 1945-1955.
