Shipping company S.A.G.A. founded by the Rothschild Bank in 1919 to act as manager for French state -owned ships. The company stopped her shipping activities in the period 1968-1982. In 1939 she purchased the French shipping company la Société Navale de l’Ouestwhich was activite on the lines Algeria and West Africa.
