The new shipyard of the Skoda Works at Komarno, Czechoslovakia according to a CIA report dated 31 May 1951

An item reported that the Skoda Works at Komarno, Czechoslovakia []nowadays Slovakia] consisted of 2 shipyards, one dating from before the Second World War and one founded after the end of the war in 1945. The new shipyard was used for building tugs measuring 100-200 tons for the USSR, Romania, Bulgaria and the CSPD. Between May and August 1950 were 5 tugs completed. Until now was just 80% of the quota as ordered by the Five Year Plan completed. Toward the end of 1950 were also motor boats to be built.
