Ex-US Army FS 330 type FS 155. Ex-Violet? Built 1944-1945. Standard displacement 911 (full load 1983)-1.000 (1957) tons a length of 180 (over all) x 32 x 10 feet or 54,9 x 9,8 x 3 metres. The General Motor diesels supplied 1.000 bhp allowing a speed of 12 knots. Built by Higgings Industries, New Orleans, Louisiana and delivered between September 1943-March 1944 and handed over to China in 1946. US Coast Guard manned. In 1987 mentioned a use as support ship for fast attacking craft in the South Sea Fleet.
