According to a list dated March-April 1944 was the cargo barge Asimina part of the fleet of the Dnjepr-Küsten-Schiffahrt GmbH (D.K.S.), Romania-flagged, dimensions 50,75 x 9,18 x 2,91 metres and cargo capacity 724 tons.
