Engin-class, former French Circe-class FS Clio (M714). Laid down by CMN, Cherbourg, France on 4 September 1969, launched on 10 June 1971, completed on 18 May 1972, decommissioned in March 1997 and sold to Turkey in January 1999 and renamed Erdemli. French detail: displacement 508 (full load) tons and as dimensions 46,5 (between perpendiculars)-50,9 (over all) x 8,90 x 3,60 (maximum) metres. One MTU diesel supplying 1.800 hp and 2 electric propulsors with 520 hp allowing a maximum speed of 15 knots. Range of 3.000 nautical miles with a speed of 12 knots. Crew numbered 47 men.Armament consisted of 1x1-2cm 90 cal MIT-20F2 guns, 2 PAP-104 USV wire-guided submersibles and 6 mine clearing divers.
