American whaling ship Triad arrived at San Francisco, USA according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 25 September 1847

An item reported that the American whaling ship Triad master Horton arrived on 21 August at San Francisco 26 months out 1.900 barrels whale oil. Departed on 25 August for Chile.
