French whaling ship Gange visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 2 October 1847

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 25 September by the French whaling ship Gange master Villier of Le Havre 900 barrels whale oil, 600 barrels this season.
