An item dated Petrograd, Russia 4th reported that a submarine fired on the 2nd two torpedoes and sunk a Deutschland-class battleship.(1)

1. All ships of the Deutschland-class pre dreadnought survived the First World War except for the SMS Pommern destroyed in the Battle of Jutland in 1916.
