American customs cutter Louisiana active according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 9 January 1823

London, 3 January. According to a letter dated Calvas, Pensacola 16 October 1821 arrived there the customs cutter Louisiana after a cruise off the Cuban coast. She captured five prizes all goelettes of 80-100 ton of which two were burnt and the other three sent to New Orleans. The crew of one of these prize totally 17 men were taken prisoner and would be judged. The other crews managed to escape on shore in the forests after burning a large amount of coffee stored on the shore.
