British brig Heron with marines towards Ascension according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 23 July 1821

London, 17 July. The brig Heron was sent last Wednesday with major John Campbell, the lieutenants Blennerhasset and Aitcheson. The latter of the artillery of the royal navy, 2 sergeants, 2 corporals, 1 piper, 1 drummer and 18 marines to Ascension to form for a period of 3 years the garrison of that island.
