The British, French and Turkish navies in the Levant according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 3 September 1821

London, 28 August. According to a letter of the agent of Lloyds at Constantinople dated 25 July arrived the Turkish fleet at Samos.

The agent of Lloyds at Smyrna wrote 17 July that the brig HMS Racehorse left leaving just the corvette Medina. In the harbour were also four French warships of which in the meantime two departed, one with the spouse and the family of the consul on board the other escorting four French vessels towards the Archipelago.

Paris, 29 August. The gabarre Golo arrived coming from Smyrna with the family of the French consul on board at Toulon.
