The building of the bark ship Quatre-Bras at Monnikendam, Netherlands according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 5 September 1852

Monnikendam, 1 September. Today was at the yard of J. Kater Qzn. The keel laid down of the bark ship Quatra-Bras of circa 200 lasten for account of Craandijk and Dercksen at Amsterdam. Master was to be F.B. Bondix.
