According to letters from Batavia dated until 11 December 1828 received at Antwerp arrived the high priest Kiay Modjo with some of his most important followers 28 November with the Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Bellona at Batavia. He was taken prisoner with 500 of his followers. The prisoners were to stay on board of the frigate or were to be brought to the guard ship until their final accommodation was available.
