Dutch or American slaver schooner Bey captured according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 8 October 1825

London, 4 October. According to the newspapers of Sierra Leona dated until 17 July was the schooner Bey flying Dutch colours near the river Galinas captured as accused being a slaver. She was declared prize by a joined British-Dutch court. Despite the Dutch flag she was presumably American property.
