Lighthouse nicknamed Lange Jaap of 1877 at Huisduinen/Den Helder, Netherlands

Known as Lange Jaap, Kijkduin Light or Den Helder Light, one of the tallest non-skeletal cast iron built lighthouses in this world. The tower has a height of 55,5 metres and a focal height of 57 metres and with range of 30 nautical miles. Built in 1877 and on 1 April 1878 was her light for the first time operational. Designed by Quirinus Harder (13 October 1801 Rotterdam, Netherlands-2 October 1880 Vlissingen, Netherlands), responsible for designing several Dutch light uses.
