The Dutch brig Zr. Ms. Snelheid (1) that accompanied the Dutch frigate Zr. Ms. Bellona (2) and lately visited Cape of Good Hope while being damaged arrived 12 August at Texel.

Soetermeer, order no. 78 to be completed on short notice 4 July, scrapped 1849, sold 1850, dimensions 28,00 (load line)x 7,70 (inner hull) x 2,9 (fore)-3,70 (aft) x 3,86 (depth below gun deck) metes and an armament of 14 guns (12-12pd carronades and 2-6pd guns).
2. Frigate 2nd class, laid down at the navy yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands in July 1819, launched on 1 October 1823, commissioned 1 June 1825, decommissioned 31 August 1842, examined in 1843, broken up at Willemsoord, Netherlands in May-September 1850, displacement 1.460 tons and an armament of 44 guns.
