Norwegian 3-master Haabet towed in to IJmuiden, Netherlands in April 1912

The Dutch magazine De Prins dated 27 April 1912 p. 195 published a photo of the Haabet being towed in to IJmuiden by the Dutch steam trawler 's-Gravenhage the week before in a worse condition. Except for her master which found dead in his cabin which was completely filled with water, was her crew saved. She was underway with a cargo of timber from Frederikstad towards Plymouth.
