Parts in Dutch slavers sold on auction at Amsterdam 1768

On an auction Tuesday 24 May 1768 were parts in two Dutch slavers to be sold:

The frigate ship Juffrouw Anna Maria with captain Marten Eggers was built 1762, dimensions 99½ x 20 x 13, height deck 5½, armed with 12 guns and on her way to the Coast of Guinea. The potential buyer was to pay (partly) for the so-called cargasoen, rebuilding and fitting out for the outward voyage. Directors of the ships were Joachim Matthys and Coenraad Smits at Amsterdam.

The frigate ship Nicolaas with captain Magnus Groof was built in 1756, dimensions 98¼ x 21'7"x 12, height deck 5'1, armed with 12 iron guns and destined as slaver towards the Coast of Guinea. The potential buyer was to pay (partly) for the so-called cargasoen, rebuilding and fitting out for the outward voyage. Directors of the ships were Joachim Matthys and Coenraad Smits at Amsterdam..
