Russia seized Romanian warships and merchant ships at Odessa in 1918 according to Dutch newspaper Schiedamsche Courant

An item  dated 21 January 1918 reported that the Russians seized all 16 Romanian ships lying on the port of Odessa. These ships seek refugee in the harbour when the offensive against Romania started. On board of these ships were Russian sailors stationed. Among the ships were two torpedo boats and three gunboats.
